Data Attributions

Third-party datasets Unvamp embeds, and the attribution each license requires.
The Unvamp platform embeds data from the following third-party sources. Each entry names the source, the license it is provided under, and the specific attribution required by that license.
Country, state, and city catalog
Contains information from dr5hn/countries-states-cities-database, which is made available here under the Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0. The catalog is self-hosted to guarantee availability in regions where public CDNs are blocked — a fresh snapshot is imported quarterly to keep pace with subdivision changes and updated city populations.
Map tiles
Interactive maps use OpenFreeMap tiles rendered via MapLibre GL. Tile data © OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under ODbL v1.0.
Address reverse-geocoding
Venue address suggestions on the organiser create-event form use the Nominatim geocoder, which sources its data from OpenStreetMap under the ODbL v1.0 license referenced above.
Country flag emoji
Country flags render as Unicode Regional Indicator Symbol emoji derived directly from the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code. No third-party emoji font is bundled — flags render via the operating system’s native emoji renderer.
Reporting a missing attribution
