Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to find an event, buy a ticket and watch a stream on Unvamp. This statement sets out where we currently stand, what we know is not yet right, and how to tell us when something blocks you.

1. Standard we work to

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across the marketing site, the attendee and organiser app, and our email. This is the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), the UK Equality Act 2010, and the Americans with Disabilities Act as applied to commercial websites.

2. Conformance status

Partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the platform meets the standard but some content does not yet fully conform. We do not claim full conformance, because parts of the product have not been independently audited.

3. What we have verified

Keyboard operation across attendee and organiser flows with no traps and a visible focus indicator throughout; form fields with programmatically associated labels and error messages that name both the problem and the fix; status and error messages announced to screen readers; text contrast of at least 4.5:1 and interactive element contrast of at least 3:1 through our design tokens; touch targets of at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels; respect for the operating system’s reduced-motion setting; and sign-in that supports password managers and passkeys rather than requiring you to memorise and retype a credential.

4. Known barriers

We would rather name these than let you discover them:

• Live stream captions are generated automatically and their accuracy varies with audio quality and accent. Organisers can correct them after the event; corrections are not available during a live broadcast.
• Interactive venue and seat maps are difficult to operate without a pointer. Where a seat map is in use, contact the organiser or our support team and we will complete the booking with you directly.
• The organiser admin console is designed desktop-first and has not been optimised for small screens or for magnification above 200%.
• Some event cover images and organiser-uploaded media lack descriptive alternative text, because that text is supplied by organisers. We prompt for it but do not yet require it.
• Third-party identity verification is presented inside the provider’s own interface, whose accessibility we do not control.

5. If something blocks you

Tell us and we will help you complete what you were trying to do, and fix the underlying problem. Email accessibility@unvamp.com with the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use if relevant. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to give you a route to complete the task — including completing it on your behalf — while we work on the fix.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the market surveillance authority responsible for the European Accessibility Act in your country, or the equivalent enforcement body in your jurisdiction.

6. How we keep this current

Accessibility is part of our definition of done rather than a later pass: every user-facing change is reviewed against WCAG 2.2 AA before it ships. This statement is reviewed whenever a significant surface changes and at least annually.
